Central ParkThe City of  Bakersfield is a U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development Entitlement Community and Participating Jurisdiction.  This means that the City receives grant funds annually from the Federal Government to spend on affordable housing, community development and homeless prevention activities.  Below you will find additional information on  programs administered by the City of Bakersfield's Economic & Community Development Division.
