Director's Message

Yes, it gets dark early these days, but winter only lasts a short while. Don't let the shorter days keep you inside; get out and try a new class or program. Have you taken your children and/or grandchildren to a park that is different than the usual one? Check out the park map in the back of the brochure and visit a park this week - there are 59 parks and each of them contain unique amenities. Plus, you can now reserve a park shelter online at certain locations to make it even easier for an outing with family and friends.

Have you always wanted to kayak but didn't know how to start? The kayak class at McMurtrey Aquatic Center is safe, affordable and a perfect way to learn a new skill to enjoy the outdoors. Adult sports, adaptive sports, after school programs and much more are found in the brochure.  So go and do it today!
