A nighttime closure has been scheduled for the westbound Westside Parkway on-ramp from Truxtun Avenue for Thursday, January 9, weather permitting. The closure is expected to be in place between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
The closure is needed to shift temporary concrete barrier rail, which will allow for the continued construction of permanent barrier rail alongside the ramp. This on-ramp will continue to operate with only one lane while work is underway. The closure is not expected to affect east-west traffic on Truxtun Avenue or the eastbound off-ramp to Truxtun Avenue.
Daytime closures continue for the outside lane and shoulder on westbound Westside Parkway between Mohawk Street and Coffee Road. These closures may be in effect from 8:30 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. each work day. The closures are needed for fiber optic work.
Work may be rescheduled without notice due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Please slow down and watch for construction workers and equipment while driving in the vicinity of this work. The Thomas Roads Improvement Program apologizes for any inconvenience this work may cause the traveling public.
