A freeze warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for the San Joaquin Valley, including Bakersfield.
The warning goes into effect at midnight Monday (Feb. 3) until 9 a.m. Tuesday (Feb. 4).
Temperatures are expected to drop to between 25 and 32 degrees.
Residents are reminded to bring all pets indoors tonight, as well as to wrap outdoor plumbing to insulate the pipes, and cover sensitive, exposed vegetation to trap heat.
