Ford Avenue will be closed between North Stine Road and Candy Street beginning on Tuesday October 27 through Friday October 30 during daytime hours. The closure is needed to remove falsework from a newly constructed bridge.
Residents can detour around the work zone by using Joseph Drive or McDonald Way to enter or exit the neighborhood.
California Avenue will be closed during nighttime hours between Easton Drive and Marella Way from Sunday, October 25 through Thursday, October 29. This closure is scheduled between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night. This closure is needed to remove falsework from the newly constructed bridge and erecting it for the second bridge, which will carry westbound traffic on the Centennial Corridor freeway.
Residents can detour around the work zone by using Oak Street to Stockdale Avenue if traveling west and Stockdale Avenue to Oak Street if traveling east.
Construction schedules may be changed without notice due to unforeseen circumstances. The Thomas Roads Improvement Program apologizes for any inconvenience this work may cause the traveling public.
