Regional Stay Home Order Effective in Kern County at Midnight Sunday

The California Department of Public Health reports that the San Joaquin Valley Region's Intensive Care Unit capacity has fallen below the 15% threshold under the state's new Regional Stay Home Order guidelines, triggering a stay home order that includes Kern County and Bakersfield.

This order takes effect Saturday, December 5 at 12:59 p.m. and will apply to Kern County at 11:59 p.m. Sunday, December 6.
